How to Enroll in a TouchNet Payment Plan
TouchNet is the Highlands College payment platform used to manage student account payments and payment plans. This guide will help you access TouchNet, review payment-plan qualifications, add an authorized user, and enroll in an available payment plan.
Payment Plan Qualifications
Before You Enroll
A message stating that no active plans are available may indicate that you do not qualify for an available payment plan.
To qualify, you must:
- Be enrolled in a term with an available payment plan.
- Have a minimum balance due of $1,501.
TouchNet may display this message when no payment plans are available for your account
Access TouchNet
Step 1
Log In to the Student Portal
Navigate to myHCportal and sign in using your normal Highlands College username and password.
Step 2
Open Account Summary
Select the Financials tile, and then select Account Summary.
Step 3
Select Make a Payment
Under My Student Account, select Make a Payment.
Step 4
Open TouchNet
TouchNet will open in a new browser window. From the TouchNet homepage, you can access your balance, payment plans, authorized users, and other student account options.
Add an Authorized User
An authorized user can receive access to make payments on your behalf.
Step 1
Open My Profile Setup
From the TouchNet homepage, locate the My Profile Setup section.
Step 2
Select Authorized Users
Under My Profile Setup, select Authorized Users.
Step 3
Add the Authorized User
Select Add Authorized User and complete the required fields.
Step 4
Authorized User Receives Instructions
The new authorized user will receive an email with instructions explaining how to make payments on your behalf.
Enroll in a Payment Plan
Step 1
Open Payment Plans
In TouchNet, select Payment Plans from the top navigation menu.
Step 2
Select Enroll Now
When the available-plan message appears, select Enroll Now.
Step 3
Select the Payment-Plan Term
Select Fall 2026 Parent Term from the drop-down menu, and then select Select.
Step 4
Choose a Payment Plan
Select the Select button next to the payment plan you want to use.
Three payment-plan options are shown in the guide. The required down payment displays the percentage due when you enroll.
Step 5
Review the Payment-Plan Details
Review the payment-plan outline, including the required down payment, installment schedule, and total amount due.
Important: The example shown in the original guide is not the actual Highlands College payment plan.
Step 6
Choose Whether to Schedule Automatic Payments
You may schedule automatic payments using a credit card or bank account by following the instructions shown in TouchNet.
Scheduled payments are not required, but they are available as an option.
Step 7
Select a Payment Method
Select your payment method, and then select Continue.
Step 8
Complete the Required Fields
Enter the required account and billing information, and then continue to the agreement.
Step 9
Review and Accept the Agreement
Read the payment-plan agreement carefully. Check the box next to I agree to the payment plan agreement, and then select Continue.
Step 10
Save Your Confirmation
After enrollment is complete, you may print a copy of the confirmation for your records.
